KPMG in Bermuda has released a snapshot of key points from the 2023 Bermuda budget speech.
Premier David Burt presented the 2023/24 budget on Friday, February 17, 2023. The budget speech highlighted the Government’s goal of achieving balanced and sustainable economic growth for Bermuda. However, he warned of the backdrop of continuing global economic uncertainty whereby Bermuda is not immune to the socio-economic challenges that have plagued the world – the war in Ukraine, supply chain disruptions, inflation, and rising interest rates, all while still recovering from the impact of COVID-19.
