KPMG entities in Bulgaria expects employees, suppliers, and others that we deal with, who have a reasonable belief that misconduct is taking place within our organization, to come forward and voice any concerns internally.
Who can report a breach?
Reports may be submitted by:
- Current or former partners and employees of KPMG entities in Bulgaria
- Freelancers engaged by KPMG entities in Bulgaria
- Contractors, sub-contractors, or suppliers of the KPMG entities in Bulgaria, as well as their workers and employees
- Persons whose employment relationship with KPMG entitites in Bulgaria is about to begin
- Other persons provided for in the Whistleblowing Law, as far as it is applicable to KPMG entities in Bulgaria.
What breaches can be reported?
The report should refer to breaches of the Bulgarian or European legislation related to the activities of KPMG entities in Bulgaria, which are known by the reporting person in a work-related context and fall into the areas specified in the Whistleblowing Law, such as:
- Public procurement
- Prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing
- Respect for privacy and protection of personal data
- Security of network and information systems
- Committed crimes of a general nature
- Breaches of the labor law
- Other breaches provided for under the Whistleblowing Law.

Your reports will be processed in strict confidentiality and protection of your identity.
Important note: Anonymous reports (except as regards breaches of the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing law), reports of breaches committed more than two years ago, as well as reports of breaches outside the scope of the Whistleblowing Law shall not be investigated by the Company.
No one who reports in good faith will incur negative consequences.
No one who reports their suspicions in good faith and participates in investigating potential breaches will incur negative consequences as a result. Abuse of the whistleblowing channel, or deliberately reporting false information, is a serious violation that may have further consequences.
