After a successful career of 28 years at KPMG Bedrijfsrevisoren/ Réviseurs d’Entreprises, Karel Tanghe (51) will be appointed as the new CFO and director of AG Insurance. “We are confident that Karel will use his many years of experience as an auditor, as head of our insurance practice and as Head of Audit to take up this role and contribute to the success of AG Insurance”, says CEO Harry Van Donink.
Karel Tanghe was, among other things, responsible for the professionalization and expansion of KPMG Bedrijfsrevisoren/ Réviseurs d’Entreprises with a keen eye for the quality and trust agenda, growth and operational excellence.
Jos Briers (56) will take over the role of Head of Audit. Jos is a former Country Risk Management Partner of KPMG in Belgium, is a member of the Advisory Board and has extensive experience in auditing both local and listed companies.
