I started at KPMG as an auditor in 1992 and have been an Audit Partner since 2005, and have been involved in the audits of large national and international companies. In addition to my auditing duties, I served as a member and chairman of the Advisory Board (2010 to 2013 and 2013 to 2016 respectively). I served as Chief Operations Officer from 2016 to 2020, before being elected as CEO in October 2020.
In my current position as CEO, I oversee actions toward achieving KPMG’s growth ambitions. I also spearheaded KPMG's first-ever Impact Plan in Belgium, focusing on Planet, People, Prosperity and Philanthropy. The Impact Plan represents KPMG's commitment to Environmental, Social and Governmental (ESG) issues and contributes to the United Nations' sustainability goals. For me, the focus in my mandate includes leading the firm’s actions toward becoming a carbon-neutral organization and achieving 25% female representation at the partner and director levels. I also strongly believe in youth involvement and engagement and therefore actively support KPMG's Board of Young Professionals and Reverse Mentorship programs.
As an avid cyclist and wine lover, I enjoy going on long bike rides in my region of De Kempen and have a deep appreciation for winemaking.
