At KPMG, giving back is an essential aspect of life and an integral part of our values, culture, and Impact Plan. Through the KPMG Foundation, we want to give our people the opportunity and time to make a real difference in the community and for charities they care about. By giving every person the opportunity to submit a volunteer project, we aim to motivate everyone to get actively involved and make an impact.

Kringwinkel Antwerpen is a Belgian social enterprise committed to sustainability and social inclusion. By collecting, sorting, and reselling donated goods, it reduces waste and extends the life of valuable items, making a positive impact on the environment.

At the same time, Kringwinkel creates meaningful employment opportunities for people who face barriers in the regular job market. Through training, guidance, and on-the-job experience, the organization helps individuals build skills and confidence, while contributing to a more circular economy.

Through its mission, Kringwinkel Antwerpen supports both the planet and the community—making sustainability accessible and impactful at the local level.

On Friday, 8 August 2025, KPMG volunteers joined Kringwinkel Antwerpen to support their mission of sustainability and inclusion. During the volunteering day, our colleagues of the Community of Young Professions rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on by sorting donated houseware items, preparing them for a second life in the shops.

Through this practical effort, they directly contributed to Kringwinkel’s circular model, where every object saved is a win for both the environment and society.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers who continue to seize opportunities to make a real difference. By working #Together, we achieve so much more, building stronger connections and supporting our planet in meaningful ways.
