NIS2, the revised directive on cybersecurity, is a crucial piece of legislation aimed at enhancing the resilience of critical infrastructure and digital services across the European Union. For Belgium, transposing NIS2 into national law is a significant undertaking that involves aligning domestic cybersecurity regulations with the standards set forth by the European Union. The deadline to close this is 18 October 2024 for all EU member states including Belgium.
