At KPMG, giving back is an essential aspect of life and an integral part of our values, culture, and Impact Plan. Through the KPMG Foundation, we want to give our people the opportunity and time to make a real difference in the community and for charities they care about. By giving every person the opportunity to submit a volunteer project, we aim to motivate everyone to get actively involved and make an impact.
KPMG Foundation Project
Located in Humbeek, Huppeldepup is a care farm and recognized animal shelter dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for both people and animals. Since its creation, the organization has offered meaningful activities and guidance to children and adults with physical or mental disabilities, people experiencing burnout, and individuals in need of additional support.
Animals and nature play an important role in the daily activities at Huppeldepup. By interacting with and caring for the animals, participants are encouraged to develop new skills, build confidence, and experience the positive impact of spending time outdoors in a calm and welcoming environment. The organization also promotes inclusion by bringing together people from different backgrounds and encouraging everyone to contribute in their own way.
In addition to its role as a care farm, Huppeldepup also operates as a recognized animal shelter focused on animal welfare, care, and responsible adoption. Through activities such as animal-assisted therapy, educational visits, and community events, the organization creates valuable connections between people, animals, and nature.
Through its daily work, Huppeldepup continues to make a meaningful difference by combining care, inclusion, and volunteering in a warm and positive environment.
