Malak Abbasli

Malak is a seasoned audit professional with over 13 years of experience serving clients in both public and private sectors. Throughout her career at KPMG, she has established herself as an expert, working across a broad spectrum of industries, including Oil and Gas, Engineering, Mining, Construction and Hospitality.

During her decade-long tenure at KPMG’s Azerbaijan office, Malak managed audit and advisory engagements for over 100 clients, demonstrating her extensive industry expertise and analytical skills. In 2022, she took on the role of Senior Manager at KPMG’s Berlin office, where she supported Global Audit Methodology team of KPMG Global with standardization of audit processes and has contributed to KPMG’s enhancing audit quality initiative.

Upon returning to Azerbaijan in 2023, Malak was promoted to Director. In her current role, she is focused on continuous improvement of audit quality in addition to leading audit engagements. Her strength lies in building strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and collaboration, and offering valuable insights to enhance business processes.

Malak's technical proficiency is complemented by her focus on identifying and recommending business and process optimizations, contributing to operational efficiency and delivering measurable value for clients.
