Key responsibilities and accountabilities
  • Participate in development of Digital strategy, IT strategy, IT architecture, target IT operating model, system architecture, functional requirements and other technical documentation for the clients
  • Develop technology concepts and design target system architecture, with focus on ERP solutions – analyze and design ERP system concepts and technical requirements, assess clients’ maturity level and readiness to implement ERP, assess the clients’ business processes (based on BTABoK, CMMI model, TOGAF, BPMN and UML notations, vendor-specific frameworks, etc.) and technical landscape to meet the target ERP state.
  • Analyze business strategy and goals, existing systems and applications, IT architecture, best practices in this area and suggest ways of optimizing and automating them.
  • Conduct technology selection and scoring, cost-benefit assessment to identify optimal technology solution for the clients.
  • Evaluate and design Digital & IT TOM (processes, people, service delivery model, governance), analyze IT governance processes and IT services and their maturity level using IT standards and methodologies (COBIT, ITIL, etc.), proposing ways of their improvement.
  • Synthesize own analysis and work results of junior team members, draw relevant conclusions, develop recommendations in terms of project.
  • Research and gather information in accordance with assignments, prepare analytical conclusions on the research results.
  • Distribute the project tasks to junior team members, monitor the task progress, guide and coach junior team members within the projects.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and other materials required for assignments, participate in the presentation of engagement reports to clients.
  • Assist project manager/director with project implementation approaches and methodology set up.
  • Communication with KPMG firms and employees, international KPMG network
  • Communication with clients, organize and lead client meetings within the project activities.

Take part in the business development of the group, prepare technical and commercial proposals for clients and other materials as part of pre-project activities.

Requirements
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science/ Engineering/ Information Security/ Mathematics
  • More than 3 years of experience in business analytics/ IT architecture/ IT TOM, etc.
  • Experience in designing ERP system is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the principles of corporate systems (ERP, CBS, CRM, ITSM, etc.) and processes behind them, software development life cycle knowledge
  • Good knowledge of IT standards and methodology (COBIT, ITIL, NIST, Open Group, etc.)
  • Business processes modeling in specified notation (UML, BPMN, EPC)
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills (able to identify and solve arising issues, proposes solutions in non-routine situations. Curious, open minded, seeks information from different sources and applies knowledge to develop solutions)
  • Passion for quality of personal contribution into project success
  • Experience in leading teams, coaching junior team members.
  • Certification in IT is an advantage.
  • Understanding of database concepts, knowledge of the MS SQL (composing and execution of the basic queries, etc.);
  • Experience in building analytical reports in BI tools (Power BI, Oracle BI, Qlik, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Azerbaijani. Knowledge of Russian or Turkish language is an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ect.).
