Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Participate in data analytics related technology consulting projects – the projects may vary from the development of big data management and data analytics strategies and roadmaps, AI strategy, Data Governance, Data Architecture, Data Technology selection and implementation – DWH, Data Platform, Data Lakehouse, MDM, BI, developing and supporting ETL processes (Python, SQL, Airflow, Informatica, etc.), building data marts, refining/developing data warehouses, integrating data sources into DWH, optimizing SQL-queries and ETL-queries, implementing data quality checks, developing predictive and advances analytics models and use cases),
- Develop high quality project deliverables and work results;
- Prepare presentations of project results to the client;
- Timely and comprehensively complete the project related tasks delegated by project manager or senior colleagues;
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding;
- Synthesize own analysis, draw relevant conclusions, develop recommendations in own area of project;
- Develop client proposals related to the Data Analytics stream services.

Requirements:
- Over 1 year of data analytics experience with a professional services firm, an internal strategy/analytics group, or similar environment with previous experience in data analytics consulting highly regarded,
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field from an accredited college or university (masters or MBA degree preferred) with knowledge of topics such as statistics, econometrics, machine learning, operations research, decision science, and cloud computing,
- Good understanding of the landscape for data science and big data opportunities,
- A combination of one or more of the following (proficient with programming languages like Python, R, Scala, Java, C++; skills in data engineering technologies like Hadoop, HDFS, Spark, Elasticsearch; experience with databases and data storage systems such as DWH, Data Lake and PostgreSQL),
- Over 1 year of experience in building analytical reporting in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Oracle BI), advanced knowledge of SQL,
- Good experience working with one or more cloud services (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Azerbaijani languages, knowledge of Russian is an advantage,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio). |
