Tapan has more than 20 years of professional experience in M&A and transaction services roles. He joined the KPMG partnership in 2020 to lead the Deals team within KPMG Australia’s Enterprise division, focusing on mid-market M&A transactions and capital raisings.
He provides financial due diligence and reviews, and works with clients to manage the overall transaction execution on acquisitions, divestments and capital raisings, including dual-track processes. He has significant experience in delivering investigating accountant reports on IPOs and advising clients with exit readiness.
Tapan has authored IPO market outlook publications and has a strong working relationship with ASIC and the ASX.
Prior to joining KPMG, he led an investigating accountant group for a major financial organisation. In this role, he worked on IPOs and capital market transactions with private and private-equity backed clients across a range of sectors, with a focus on technology and financial services. Tapan has also worked in senior executive roles for banks in London.
