Kevin is the Global Leader for Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management, and a Risk Services Partner with KPMG Australia. His key focus is using technology to support bringing strategic risk, compliance and controls testing together through Internal Audit to improve organisations governance.
As part of this team he leads a managed risk service team utilising IBM software OpenPages (KPMG Risk Hub) to bring a cost-effective GRC solution to market and is responsible for the national delivery of KPMG digital products Dynamic Risk Assessment (brings risk connectivity and velocity to improve the traditional risk management approach and Facilitator View (a powerful management voting tool).
Kevin has experience as CFO of a large corporate infrastructure business and has spent more than 30 years with KPMG working with C-level clients and boards providing governance, risk, compliance and assurance services across global, national and local clients. His experience covers large listed entities through to private and not-for-profit clients. His sector experience in the assurance space was primarily focused on the financial services and mining sectors with his risk and governance work across health, education and government.
He has more than 20 years' experience as a board member of not-for-profits across FTA, FINSIA, Community Vision, St Stephens and Curtin University Advisory Board for the School of Economics and Finance.
