Scott Mesley

Scott works with the firm to accelerate and enable KPMG’s environmental, social & governance (ESG) market response to clients. In his role as Growth Leader, Scott works alongside the ESG leadership team, industry leaders and the global KPMG IMPACT network to embed ESG throughout our services to drive growth and positive outcomes for clients.

For more than 25 years, Scott has provided commercial and transactions advisory services to government, private sector and not-for profit clients across sectors that span financial services, asset management, real estate, agribusiness, infrastructure, healthcare and education.

Scott's experience extends across policy design and implementation, investor market engagement, funding strategies, transaction design and management, capital structuring and raising. Impact investing, sustainable finance, biodiversity and natural capital, and the role that government and capital markets play in delivering positive environmental, social and economic outcomes are fields that Scott is focused on.

Scott represents KPMG globally as a member of the Taskforce for Nature Related Financial Disclosures. He also acts as a leader of KPMG’s involvement as a foundation member in the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute.
