Partner, Turnaround & Restructuring

KPMG Australia

Martin is a Partner in our Western Australian practice. He has more than 33 years of restructuring and corporate recovery experience including appointments as an adviser to troubled companies in workout situations and assisting lenders in complex debt restructure and recovery assignments.

Martin utilises his expertise to provide solutions to problems confronted by secured creditors, directors and credit providers, in particular with exposures to industry areas such as resources and resources-related services, agriculture, hospitality and licensed premises, property and construction.

He provides constructive advice in difficult financial scenarios that confront providers of credit (secured and unsecured) and company directors. In working on recovery options, Martin focuses on the enhancement of value for his clients. This includes the financial restructuring of ASX listed companies, both through formal arrangement and by consensus reorganisation.

Martin joined KPMG as a Partner following the firm's merger with Ferrier Hodgson in June 2019.
