Heather joined the Australian firm in 2003 having commenced her professional services career in the UK. Heather’s expertise is in audit, risk and corporate governance.

Heather is a well-known and respected leader in the Tasmanian business community, working with a broad range of medium and large clients in both the government sector and the private sector. Clients who work with Heather value her ability to assist with complex problems, developing pragmatic and fit for purpose solutions.

In 2015, Heather was part of KPMG’s inaugural Bird Walton development program, the first of its kind focused on elevating performance of female talent at KPMG through direct and deliberate mentoring. Less than two years later, in 2017, Heather was admitted to the KPMG partnership.

In 2017 Heather took on KPMG Australia’s Co-Chair role for Pride@KPMG. In this role, she demonstrates passion and leadership to the network of LGBTI+ and ally members. Heather firmly believes that in order to succeed an organisation needs to promote, support and allow all people to bring their whole selves to work.
