Sophie is a director in the Planning & Infrastructure Economics team within KPMG's Infrastructure, Assets & Places division. She is a specialist water economist experienced in providing strategic advice across the water sector in Australia and New Zealand.

Passionate about stakeholder engagement, Sophie builds effective relationships with customers, government and regulators to deliver sustainable outcomes to benefit customers and community.  

Sophie joined KPMG in 2022 after a career across the water industry  including working for Queensland Government, economic regulators, commercial water businesses and leading water operations. Insights from this range of perspectives inform Sophie's leadership of water economic and policy advice. Sophie has led projects across both urban and irrigation uses of water including business cases, pricing reviews and policy reforms.
