Scott is KPMG’s Queensland Chairman of Partners. He is a Brisbane-based Partner with over 30 years professional experience. Throughout his career has worked in KPMG’s London, New York, Sydney and Brisbane offices.
Prior to taking on the Queensland Chairman role, Scott was the Queensland Partner in Charge of our Audit, Assurance & Risk Consulting practice. In this role, he had significant exposure to ASX Listed and large Corporate clients.
Whilst his skills lie primarily in the External Audit space, he also has significant experience in undertaking Internal Audits, Risk & Compliance engagements, Mergers & Acquisitions, and various ESG engagements. Scott’s work has also cut across many sectors, including Financial Services, Mining, Property, Industrial & Consumer Markets and Agriculture, providing him with exposure to different risks, trends and issues.
He is a frequent presenter to Boards and Executives on aspects of financial governance and accounting related topics. He has facilitated numerous risk workshops, undertaken extensive internal control reviews and various feasibility/project assessments.
Scott is also a Government-approved sustainability auditor.
