Wendell is a partner in the Engineering & Asset Management team, part of KPMG’s national Infrastructure, Assets & Places division. He also leads the firm’s Reliability Engineering and Asset Optimisation practice.
Wendell works closely with KPMG’s Defence clients and oversees complex client engagements. His passion is in leading large teams to embed effective change and realise the value of assets to support an organisation’s strategic objectives.
With over 20 years’ experience as a risk, reliability, asset management and organisational transformation leader, Wendell has worked in all facets of engineering project management and delivery, integrated logistics support, system safety, aviation software assurance, type certification, asset management and training development and delivery. His engineering experience covers the entire asset life cycle from the earliest stages of strategy, concept and requirements development, all the way through to acquisition, sustainment and disposal.
Wendell holds a Master of Science in Computer Systems (majoring in Software Engineering) from the United States Air Force Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, USA. He is a Chartered Professional Engineer, a Certified Asset Management Assessor, and a Certified Practitioner in Asset Management.
