John has more than 20 years’ experience advising domestic and international financial services organisations on a range of cross border and domestic corporate tax matters. His clients include domestic and foreign banks, investment banks, fintech businesses and alternative finance providers.

John is a Partner in KPMG’s Financial Services Tax practice based in Sydney and has previously held advisory and group tax roles in Sydney, New York and Hong Kong. He has been actively involved in consultations with government and revenue authorities in relation to new developments in tax laws impacting financial services businesses.
