Belal is a director in the Project & Program Delivery team, part of KPMG Australia's Infrastructure, Assets & Places division.
For more than 10 years, Belal has provided cost advisory and project controls to several of Australia's largest infrastructure projects along the east coast. He has lead teams nationally alongside several government bodies and has successfully managed and delivered several high-profile infrastructure projects in excess of $50 billion, spanning across the project lifecycle from feasibility to project delivery.
Belal focuses on the Transport Rail and Road sector, fulfilling the role of cost adviser and providing cost estimating, benchmarking escalation modelling and cashflow analysis. He has also acted as an independent cost adviser, providing commercial and price evaluation including sensitivity analysis and analytics during several RFT phases.
In 2018, Belal joined KPMG as a manager and through his successes, he was promoted to the role of Director overseeing the cost advisory service line in NSW. Prior to KPMG, Belal worked in one of the largest engineering firms and a boutique consultancy with a focus on providing tangible advice and services to public and private entities for successful major infrastructure project delivery.
