Few would know that in the late 80s, Nick's rugby career with the Leicester Tigers in the UK came to an end when injury struck. During his recovery, he learned some life lessons including the need for personal resilience, empathy and the contribution of technology to problem solving – principles which he continues to live by.
Nick works with clients in telecommunications and asset intensive industries to evolve business models, scale their business, establish effective commercial partnerships and drive returns from technology innovation. He brings specialties to the platform business such as go-to-market strategy and execution, IP commercialisation, and client needs analysis.
He has over 25 years’ experience in leadership and industry development through previous roles with global leaders in business consulting, enterprise software, applications development and SAAS/Cloud.
Throughout his career, Nick has built enduring business partnerships with European and Australian brands in aviation, utilities and telecommunications, which have resulted in new revenue streams, innovation and clients breaking into new markets.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his family, adopted greyhound and chickens. He is an aspiring apiarist as well as the cultivator of a tiny citrus grove, and although spare time now is at a premium, he still tries to make time for sport.
