Background information
Martin Jones, Andrew Saker and Ben Johnson were appointed Voluntary Administrators of Forge Group Limited and subsidiaries ('the Group') on 11 February 2014 pursuant to Section 436A of the Corporations Act 2001 (The Act). The Voluntary Administrators were subsequently appointed General Purpose liquidators on 18 March 2014.
As a consequence the financiers on the same day, pursuant to their securities, appointed Mark Mentha and Scott Langdon of KordaMentha as Receivers and Managers over certain entities.
Andrew Saker resigned as a liquidator of the Group on 13 June 2014. Ben Johnson resigned as a liquidator of the Group on 12 October 2015.
Wayne Rushton and Dermott McVeigh were appointed joint and several liquidators alongside Martin Jones on 30 June 2017.
Dermott McVeigh resigned as a liquidator on 31 August 2017.
Wayne Rushton resigned as a liquidator on 19 August 2021.
On 13 June 2019 Rob Kirman and Rob Brauer of McGrathNicol were appointed Special Purpose Liquidators of the Group to pursue certain litigation claims. The Special Purpose Liquidators were released from their appointment on 3 November 2021.
