Shane O'Sullivan

Shane is the lead Partner in KPMG Australia's Microsoft Cloud, Data & AI practice and the Consulting Sector Lead for Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT).

He specialises in helping organisations unlock value from AI, data and cloud technologies through enterprise transformation programs, AI strategy, operating model redesign and large-scale technology implementation. With more than 30 years of transformation experience and 15 years working with AI and intelligent automation, Shane has led major programs across Defence, government and industry, including secure AI and analytics platforms, enterprise AI adoption and business-led transformation initiatives.

Shane's industry experience spans telecommunications, consumer and retail, industrial manufacturing, Defence industry, Defence and government.

He works with executive teams to improve productivity, reduce cost, enhance customer and employee experiences, accelerate revenue growth and transform business functions through the effective application of technology, data and AI. Drawing on a background that combines strategy, business transformation and technology leadership, he helps organisations identify where value can be created, build practical transformation roadmaps and realise measurable outcomes from their investments.

Known for his collaborative and business-oriented leadership style, Shane brings together diverse teams to align technology initiatives with strategic objectives and deliver sustainable outcomes.

Prior to KPMG, Shane held executive leadership roles including CIO and Strategy & Change Executive for a multinational financial services group operating across 22 countries. This combination of business and technology experience enables him to bridge strategy and execution, helping organisations navigate complex transformation while maintaining a relentless focus on business value and sustainable outcomes.
