Having started his career as a lawyer and investigator for the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Alex now advises a range of public and private entities to review and uplift their board governance, organisational governance, risk management and compliance management – either through advisory engagements or internal audits.

As a governance specialist, Alex leverages his legal skills and understanding of better practice to build and implement effective, efficient, and strategically valuable decision-making frameworks, oversight structures, accountability mechanisms, and key supporting processes.

Alex advises clients across a number of sectors including financial services, gaming, government, health and aged care, and higher education. His clients range from ASX-listed companies (and their subsidiaries), through to government entities and community-based Not-for-Profits and charities.

Outside of KPMG, Alex is a sessional academic for the University of Melbourne Law School, and a volunteer solicitor with Youth Law Australia (an online community legal centre supporting children and young people).
