Georgina is a Director in KPMG’s Debt Advisory Services team, with more than 15 years’ experience across financial institutions and professional services. She advises government and corporate clients on credit assessment, debt capacity, transaction structuring and financial modelling.
Since joining KPMG in October 2019, Georgina has led work supporting the assessment of financial assurance arrangements for resource-sector rehabilitation obligations. Her role includes assessing the financial standing of resource industry participants and the strength of their underlying projects. She has also advised government clients on alternative funding mechanisms, financial assessments and regulatory matters.
Before joining KPMG, Georgina worked in state government, undertaking credit reviews, assigning credit ratings, assessing debt capacity and evaluating financial commitments for government-owned corporations, local governments and universities. She previously spent seven years at a leading financial institution across project finance, corporate banking and lending services, developing expertise in cash flow lending, deal structuring and limited and non-recourse transactions, particularly in infrastructure and utilities.
