      corporate world.

The KPMG High School Leavers Program is designed for high school graduates and will equip you with the essential accounting and work skills that you need to start a career in professional services. You’ll follow a structured learning plan through CA ANZ’s CA Fundamentals and CA Foundations Pathways, leading you to the prestigious CA Program. Learn through a mix of workshops and presentations, drop-in sessions, on-the-job training and expert mentoring.

      You’ll access the following training:

      • Workplace fundamentals – everything from communication, thriving through change, wellbeing to professional conduct.
      • Business fundamentals – business writing, generative AI, decision-making to critical thinking.
      • Accounting fundamentals – bookkeeping, accounting principles, financial statements to internal controls and cash.
      • Study skills – how to study, time management, assessment guides to developing digital skills.

Once you’ve completed CA Fundamentals, you’ll then progress to CA Foundations, a refined and flexible pathway that preps you for the CA Program.

The Chartered Accountant (CA) Program consists of seven core modules and two elective modules. Part of the program is also practical experience under the supervision of a qualified Chartered Accountant. The practical experience element will be completed through your role as part of the KPMG CA High School Leavers Program.

      Program duration

The program is four years in total, with one year of initial experience while completing CA Fundamentals, then three years of mentored practical experience while completing CA Foundations and CA Program, after which you’ll have your Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting.
