Our Foundations Program allows you to explore the endless career possibilities offered at KPMG.
This short program is designed to provide you with the knowledge to make the right career choices.
- Open to all students, but preference will be given to pre-penultimate (that’s the first year of a three-year degree, or the second year of a four-year degree) in locations where demand is high.
- Any degree discipline.
- Great opportunity to find out more about what we do, the different career choices available and how to prepare for a professional career.
You’ll take part in workshops that will help you build key skills you’ll need to start your career, like networking, interviewing and presenting yourself in-person and online. You’ll also learn from experts from across our services about the work they do and hear from our current graduates.
So, whether you’ve already got a career path in mind, or still open to something new, the Foundations Program will give you insights and ideas of where to next. What’s even better? You could also have the opportunity to be one of the first to apply for our Vacationer Program, if you’re eligible.

Women in Technology and Engineering Insights Program
Our Women in Technology and Engineering Insights Program is aimed primarily at women who are interested in learning about a career in Technology at KPMG.
During this 2-day program, you’ll connect with inspirational women from our Technology teams, build your professional skills, and explore the range of career opportunities available in one of our fastest growing areas. The program is packed with practical takeaways and valuable insights – from day-in-the-life spotlights, networking, building practical skills for job applications to technology debates.
You’ll get an insider’s view into our different tech teams, our technology services, and the technologies we’re using – such as artificial intelligence, Cloud technology and machine learning. You’ll meet with our current grads and learn about their career journeys and what a typical day looks like for them at KPMG.

Eligibility requirements and selection process
KPMG Foundations Program
Our Foundations Program is open to all students, but preference will be given to pre-penultimate (that’s the first year of a three-year degree, or the second year of a four-year degree) in locations where demand is high.
Australian or New Zealand citizens, Australian Permanent Residents, or Australian visa holders can apply for the Foundations Program in most locations, except for Canberra where you must be an Australian citizen.
Applying is easy – all you need to do is submit your application, and we’ll be in touch to let you know if your place has been confirmed.
KPMG’s Women in Tech Insights Program
Our Women in Tech Insights Program is open to people from any degree discipline who are curious to learn and motivated to work in this expanding and dynamic field.
To be eligible, you’ll be in your first year at university (or second year if you’re on a 4-year course) and able to attend the program for the full two-days.
This program is open to Australian and New Zealand citizens, Australian permanent residents and international students.

The WIT Insights program currently takes place in Sydney and Melbourne.
