      Tim Schabert is a partner at KPMG Advisory in the Financial Services division. As co-head of the Financial Risk Management division, he is responsible for all aspects of quantitative measurement and qualitative control of risks in companies in the financial services sector, particularly banks. His area of expertise is the realignment of overall bank/risk management at banks to meet the economic and regulatory requirements that have arisen directly or indirectly from the financial market crisis for institutions in Europe.

      In this area, he and his highly effective and rapidly growing team advise banks of all sizes and with a wide variety of business models in Austria, Germany, and other European countries.

      He also coordinates KPMG's activities across Europe with regard to the preparation of restructuring and resolution plans for banks. In this area, he works closely with supervisory and resolution authorities in various European countries and the relevant European institutions.
