As a partner in the area of Sustainability Services and Head of ESG, Katharina Schönauer advises companies on various issues relating to sustainability.
Her focus is on the strategic integration of sustainability issues, the measurement and management of ESG impacts, and the verification of sustainability information. She also hosts the ESG Morning Talks – “ESGeht informiert in den Tag” (ESG starts the day informed), which regularly highlight current topics in the ESG field.
In addition, Katharina Schönauer is an Austrian member of EFRAG as an ESRS Working Group Expert, whose members contribute their expertise in the field of sustainability to the development of European sustainability standards. In addition, she is course director of the Certified Sustainability Reporting Specialist program at the Controller Institute Austria and the technical and strategic director of the courses for certified Corporate Sustainability & ESG Managers and certified Corporate Diversity & Inclusion (DEI) Managers at Business Circle.
