Bernhard Mechtler is an auditor and senior partner at KPMG. In this role, his aim is to do the right thing every day together with his colleagues and to create sustainable trust in the economy as an important element of our society.
He specialises in auditing and advising banks and listed companies. The areas of activity include questions of the Austrian Banking Act and European regulations, regulatory issues as well as accounting law issues in the area of financial instruments in accordance with IFRS. Together with his team, he is active in numerous consulting projects and as an appraiser in addition to the bank audit. As an auditor, he also carries out large projects across countries.
