The focus of Günther Hirschböck is on internal and external consulting in accounting according to IFRS. This includes, among other things, support in enforcement procedures, preparation for the application of new accounting standards, and guidance for corporate transactions regarding potential accounting impacts.
In his role as head of the KPMG internal Department of Professional Practice (DPP), Günther Hirschböck is responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of work – especially in the audit business area – and contributes to numerous publications as well as internal and external training events.
Additionally, Günther Hirschböck is a member of working groups of AFRAC and the specialist senate of the Chamber of Tax Advisors and Auditors.
