KPMG is proud to once again participate in ADIPEC 2026 under this year’s theme, “Energy security is a shared responsibility”. This year, we will be co-exhibiting in the Microsoft Pavilion in the ADIPEC AI Zone.

As the energy sector navigates shifting geopolitical dynamics, technological disruption and evolving demands for sustainable growth, energy security increasingly depends on the ability of organizations to strengthen resilience. At ADIPEC, we will engage with industry leaders and decision-makers through presentations, demonstrations and thought leadership spanning digital transformation and technology, governance and controls, finance transformation, people and change, and tax and regulatory perspectives.

We will also contribute to a roundtable and strategic conferences on the challenges shaping the future of energy, including talent, operational resilience, market uncertainty and investment in energy infrastructure.

Across these engagements, we aim to explore how organizations can translate emerging technologies and strategic priorities into practical business outcomes, strengthen governance and risk management, and develop the capabilities needed to support long-term energy security.

Join us at the conference for thought-provoking exchanges and lively debate with some of the sector’s leading voices. Discover bold ideas and challenge conventional thinking through conversations around the most pertinent questions shaping energy’s future.

KPMG’s presence at ADIPEC will bring the best of the global network in this collaboration between KPMG in the UK and KPMG Middle East. Do visit us at the Microsoft Pavillion for incisive dialogue with our subject matter experts.

ADIPEC 2026 is a strategic platform where leadership, innovation and collaboration converge to shape the future of energy. In a world defined by rising demand, evolving technologies and increasing complexity, its relevance lies in turning dialogue into decisive action, partnerships into tangible opportunities, and ambition into sustainable, long-term growth.

      KPMG as official Knowledge Partner

As knowledge partner, KPMG will drive meaningful conversations at ADIPEC, including a closed-door roundtable in partnership with Bureau Veritas. To set the stage, our white paper examines interconnected priorities: aligning workforce planning with future business needs; adopting skills-based talent strategies; preparing employees and managers for AI-driven changes to work; building sustainable talent pipelines through knowledge transfer and development; and measuring workforce readiness against performance. It highlights the importance of moving beyond traditional headcount planning towards a more dynamic approach that connects skills, learning, internal mobility and workforce transformation.

The report also explores how organizations can balance the development of local talent with access to specialized global expertise, preserve critical institutional knowledge and assess workforce readiness through tangible indicators such as critical-skills coverage, time to proficiency, internal mobility, productivity improvements and succession planning.

Leadership Roundtable and presentations at ADIPEC

The sector is navigating intensifying competition for critical skills, and workforce capability is becoming an increasingly important determinant of long-term performance.

At ADIPEC 2026, KPMG will contribute to discussions on the strategic importance of talent in building a future-ready energy sector. Gunjan Shroff, Partner, People and Change at KPMG Middle East, is moderating an exclusive, closed-door Leadership Roundtable: “Talent as a strategic asset: building the workforce that energy security requires”. The discussion will explore how energy organizations can anticipate emerging capability needs, strengthen talent pipelines and align workforce strategies with the demands of a changing energy landscape.

In addition, our other presentations and leadership discussions at ADIPEC will cover topics as wide-ranging as the impact of shipping disruptions and regional tensions on oil supply, investment risk and upstream priorities, to how governments, investors and industry can finance diverse energy infrastructure, spanning LNG and hydrocarbons, renewables and power systems.

Booth demos at the Microsoft Pavillion

Our demos and case studies at ADIPEC will demonstrate how AI and digital solutions can address practical challenges across the energy value chain. Examples include AI-driven investigations and analytics to support compliance, procurement, supply chain and risk management, alongside solutions that automate governance, risk and compliance across IT and operational technology (OT) environments. The case studies will also examine how AI can help organizations identify and manage OT vulnerabilities, strengthening cybersecurity and resilience across critical energy infrastructure.

Further demonstrations will outline opportunities to transform finance functions through Microsoft-based technologies and AI, with applications tailored to the energy sector, as well as digital solutions that support tax processes and regulatory compliance. Across these use cases, the focus will be on how organizations can apply emerging technologies to improve visibility, strengthen controls and support better decision-making.
