Tax Assistant, Trade & Customs

Office location: Ho Chi Minh City/Ha Noi

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting in preparing proposals and marketing materials with respect to our service offerings
  • Attending meetings with clients and documenting the facts and information regarding clients’ businesses, trade and customs practices, indirect tax and customs issues, etc.
  • Conducting financial analyses and preparing analytical reports 
  • Coordinating and working with Managers and team members to successfully deliver trade & customs related services to our clients 
  • Assisting in necessary administrative tasks relating to the engagements, including internal risk management procedures, billing and invoicing, etc. 
  • Monitoring multiple client engagements of varying size and complexity
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of in-house systems and procedures

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subjects, e.g. supply chain management, logistic, auditing, finance, economics, law
  • Competent and literate with the following packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
  • The ability to apply an understanding of financial statements, SAP/ ERP systems and other relevant non-tax financial and business information to the trade & customs advisory and compliance work 
  • Strong organizational, time management skills and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work and perform under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
