Kare’n joined KPMG in the British Virgin Islands in February 2021, having previously worked in KPMG’s Georgian, Armenian and UK practices. He has over 20 years of audit experience with KPMG in a variety of business sectors, including Financial Services.
Kare’n works with a portfolio of clients that includes funds, investment managers, special purpose vehicles, banks, legal and fiduciary companies. He has extensive audit and accounting technical knowledge and is regarded as an expert in the field.
Kare’n is the Lead Engagement Partner on some of the Firm’s largest Financial Services and Alternative Investment clients.
Kare’n is actively involved in regulatory compliance engagements with other KPMG member firms and for British Virgin Islands licensed and non-licensed entities to understand their regulatory requirements, including compliance with the Banks and Trust Companies Act, the Securities and Investment Business Act, the Mutual Fund Regulations and the Regulatory Code.
