Uzbekistan is implementing large-scale reforms in labor law regulations. The system of electronic employment record books and mandatory registration of new employment contracts in the electronic system has been introduced. A new Labor Code has also been adopted and will come into force on April 30, 2023. The new Code contains regulations related to certain categories of employees, such as those working at home, remotely, part-time, hired by individuals, and by private entrepreneurs.
