Client's Choice: TOP-100 best lawyers in Ukraine

Lawyers representing KPMG Law Ukraine were recognised once again by the rating body “Client’s Choice. TOP-100 best lawyers in Ukraine. Practice Leaders 2021”.

In what has already become a strong tradition, Sergey Popov (Partner, Head of Tax & Legal, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals) has once again received recognition as being among the best lawyers in tax law practice in Ukraine. Moreover, this year Sergey was also lauded as being among the leaders in the practice of medical law and pharmaceuticals.

The extensive expertise of Oksana Olekhova (Partner, Head of Corporate Tax Group) was also highly appreciated, with experts naming her as being among the best lawyers in tax law practice.

Yuriy Katser (Director, Head of Legal Advice) also continues to hold a leading positions in the Ukrainian legal market, this year being recognised as a leader in two practices: energy and natural resources, and compliance.

For the first time, adviser Vasyl Kiyko has been included in the ranking, recognised as being among the best lawyers in agrarian and land law practice.

“Client's choice. TOP-100 Lawyers of Ukraine” is an all-Ukrainian study of the quality of legal services provided by Ukrainian lawyers, the purpose of which is to help corporate lawyers and businesses when choosing a legal advisor in the relevant field of law in Ukraine.

The rating methodology is based on market research and is conducted in two stages:

Stage 1: surveying corporate lawyers before forming a list of the TOP-100 best lawyers of Ukraine according to clients (corporate lawyers);

Stage 2: a survey of law firms before forming a list of lawyers based on their indicated practices, according to corporate lawyers and law firms.
