Coronavirus: Protect your staff and your business
Tax, immigration and employment law considerations for 2019-nCoV business continuity plans
Due to the rapid development of the coronavirus situation, many companies have initiated business continuity planning to protect their staff and mitigate the impact on their business operations. In maintaining business continuance, there are a number of people related issues to consider, including how to manage a cross-border workforce and changes to employment and remuneration terms.
KPMG People Services team has developed a booklet highlighting the key considerations for these issues from a high level legal, tax and immigration perspectives.
We hope this booklet can facilitate senior management and board of directors to hold conversations with human resource, tax and finance teams in the business continuity planning.
