The importance of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting is increasing due to raised scrutiny from stakeholders. Investors are looking for ESG disclosures to steer their investment decision-making. Effective reporting is necessary to tell the ESG narrative to investors and other stakeholders, comply with relevant disclosures, and strengthen reputation and value.
The ESG rating agencies are also keeping up with the rapid evolving of sustainability reporting. S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment for DJSI has integrated topics such as double materiality, taxonomy, and social impact assessment such as Social Return on Investment (SROI) in assessing and calculating the scores of disclosures made by the companies.
In this webinar, KPMG will specifically talk about the overview, methodology and disclosures of these topics and how companies can seek for better scoring points.
Agenda/ Topics:
- What is Double Materiality, Taxonomy and social impact assessment, e.g. SROI, in Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA)
- The key questions in CSA for related topics
- The assessment process and examples of case study
