Tax Talent 2025 Graduate Trainee Program

Our Tax practice collaborates with all kinds of organizations, businesses of different sizes across a wide range of concepts such as International, Business & Indirect Taxes where we support our clients on transactions, managing domestic and global tax obligations. With such a diverse range of services, Tax offers an exciting career path to ambitious graduates.

You will tackle the challenges at the very heart of client organizations and develop a broad business understanding whilst building valuable technical skills and professional qualifications. Throughout the program, you’ll have the support of our senior leaders, peers, and the broader Tax community, enabling you to be at your best and build your network.

Responsibilities

You will work on a variety of intellectually stimulating projects, receive support to attain professional exposure, and have the opportunity to grow in your own unique way through structured development programs.

  • Analyze financial data to identify potential tax issues or opportunities for tax efficiency.
  • Keep updated with industry trends and best practices in tax planning and compliance.
  • Advise clients and be responsible for delivering high quality tax service and advice.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including audit and advisory teams, to provide integrated solutions to clients.
  • Assist in developing and implementing tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Proactively assist the team on various aspects of engagements in the planning and implementation of project activities which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination of KPMG and client resources as may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Background in Accounting / Law / Economics / Finance either academic or work experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in similar or related domain of taxation.
  • Ability to analyze basic tax and accounting information.
  • Degree holder with a professional qualification, preferable in a numerical subject
  • Fluency in English both speaking and writing.
  • Good Team player and excellent client relationship skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage priorities and deliver works to supervisory within a tight deadline
