Job Description

KPMG in Thailand is currently seeking an experienced, ambitious and energetic PR and communications Manager to join the team.  This business-wise marketing and communications professional will be responsible for arranging a wide range of PR and marketing events which help to strengthen the KPMG brand. The role will involve you in the front line of a major firm’s interactions with some of Thailand and the world’s leading firms.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute marketing and communication activities across KPMG in Thailand and provide support to KPMG in Laos and Myanmar.
  • Draft, review and proofread various types of PR content, including press releases, newsletters, speeches, and social media posts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media contacts and manage media inquiries.
  • Track and document media coverage and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with network firms to ensure that global campaigns are localized effectively while maintaining brand compliance.
  • Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage crisis communication to handle negative publicity.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior staff members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, business or related field preferred but other disciplines will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, with a focus on PR and communication strategies.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Thai
  • Understand how to develop and implement a marketing communications program and how to align marketing strategy with business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate proactive flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
