Join our Value Creation & Restructuring team, a dynamic group within Deal Advisory that helps clients unlock business value and navigate complex financial situations. We provide end-to-end assessments to identify and deliver actionable initiatives that improve EBITDA, cash flow, and operational efficiency in both deal environments and restructuring scenarios.
Our approach combines financial analysis, operational improvement, and stakeholder engagement, supported by advanced analytics and industry insights. This role offers exposure to high-impact projects, including operational improvement analysis, working capital optimization, turnaround planning, and debt restructuring.
Roles and responsibilities
- Conduct financial and operational analysis to identify cost-saving and revenue-enhancement opportunities.
- Perform process walkthroughs with clients to validate, refine and quantify value creation hypothesis.
- Support development of implementation roadmaps for initiatives.
- Quantify EBITDA upside and cash flow improvement.
- Assist in synergy assessments for M&A transactions.
- Review and analyze historical cash flows and develop forecast cash flow analysis.
- Create, analyze and update 13-week cash flow model and other financial model.
- Analyze and evaluate the financial visibility for turnaround and debt restructuring cases.
- Engage with and support conversations with key stakeholders around opportunity hypothesis, including clients, banks and PE houses.
- Collaborate with legal and financial experts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Participate in workshops and management interviews to gather insights.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for client meetings and negotiations.
- Assist in the business development initiatives required to support the communication of the value creation offering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2 – 4 years of experience in consulting, corporate finance, banks, restructuring, or transaction advisory.
- Strong skills in financial analysis, financial modeling, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of operational improvement levers, including procurement, working capital, and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of debt restructuring processes and techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with legal frameworks related to debt restructuring is a plus
- Proficiency in spoken and written English with the ability to thrive in an international environment
