We are seeking energetic and motivated self-starters to join our successful, driven and international team of Valuation & Financial Modelling professionals to further our pursuit of service excellence in a rapidly changing business environment.
Roles and responsibilities
- Conduct business valuations and financial analyses, market research, and capital market and cost of capital analyses.
- Develop complex, integrated financial models using Excel / Power BI.
- Participate in engagements such as fairness opinions, pricing analysis for M&A transactions, valuation of start-ups and valuation of financial instruments as well as valuation for financial reporting, accounting and tax purposes (e.g. intangible asset valuation, purchase price allocation, impairment testing, and valuation for share-based payments).
- Provide key advice on deal considerations, including structuring, pricing and negotiation.
- Cooperate closely with other KPMG experts, like our M&A, due diligence or restructuring teams, or with our accounting, tax and legal experts.
- Willingness to work in M&A deal execution together with the M&A team (subject to certain requirements).
- Work together with large international and Thai corporations as well as mid-market firms, often in an international environment, across all sectors.
- Proactively interact with clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Having passed any level of the CFA exam is an advantage.
- Corporate finance, investment banking, project finance advisory experience acquired with banks, professional firms and corporations with an understanding of valuation and M&A processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and experience in financial modelling. Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, Python/R (basic), Bloomberg and Capital IQ, are a plus.
