Jan is a Partner at Deal Advisory and has been working at KPMG since 2005. Before joining KPMG, Jan worked on strategic issues in a mid-sized Swedish group, and prior to that, he spent four years in the Armed Forces. Jan has extensive experience in transaction-related projects and has acted as an advisor in over 200 different divestitures and acquisitions. Many of these have involved work for the sell-side with so-called vendor due diligence. Jan also has significant experience in leading integrated projects (including financial, commercial, and operational analysis) towards the private equity sector. Between 2013 and 2015, Jan led KPMG’s sector work towards the private equity industry. Jan has broad sector experience as a result of his work with private equity firms. In recent years, Jan has primarily focused on consumer trade, the financial sector, the manufacturing industry, and the healthcare sector.
