Ziad Zakaria joined KPMG in Saudi Arabia in June 2020 and is responsible for the Ministry of Education account. He is an accomplished and result-oriented senior management professional with 20 years of experience in end to end management of assigned programs involving business development and transformation, business consultancy on managing national / corporate transformation programs, setting up and managing PMO amongst others across diverse client locations. He has wide knowledge of the financial services industry (Retail/Corporate Banking, Central banks, Capital Market/Stock Exchanges) and public sector.

Prior to KPMG, he worked with the Saudi Ministry of Education, as project leader for the Vision Realization Office (VRO) responsible to establish and design the Operating Model for the VRO. He was also the project leader for Kefayat, the Competency Based Education Program, a project leader monitoring the performance of Tatweer within the executive office, and a PMO/QA manager for establishing and operating a PMO to supervise and QA the implementation of a national Educational Management Information System (EMIS) which serve 600,000 teachers, 5,500,000 students, and more than 33,000 schools. Other experience includes various roles within SAMA, Banque Saudi Fransi and Saudi British Bank.
