Muhammad Tariq

Muhammad Tariq is Head of Audit at KPMG in Saudi Arabia. Tariq started his career in 1994 and has more than 24 years of professional experience including 13 years in GCC region. Before joining KPMG Saudi Arabia, Tariq was Head of Audit for KPMG in the United Arab Emirates. Tariq has been a partner since January 2007. His sector experience include Banking, Insurance, Private Equity and Family owned businesses. Tariq is heavily involved in quality assurance and likes to engage with regulators and academia on a regular basis. He leads KPMG’s Islamic Finance group and has delivered many trainings on this subject. In his roles as the Lead Partner for Islamic Finance and Insurance business, he has provided Islamic finance training clients in Saudi Arabia, Oman and KPMG MESA Office.
