Salam Eido

Salam joined KPMG Lebanon in July 2018 as Head of Tax and moved to Saudi Arabia in October 2020 to lead the Indirect Tax function, based in the Jeddah office. He was subsequently appointed as Senior Director, Tax and Zakat. Salam spent over 18 years as head of the income tax department and head of VAT legislation and tax policies division in the Ministry of Finance of Lebanon.

He has extensive experience and competency in key areas related to direct and indirect tax, i.e. VAT, income tax, payroll tax and WHT. Salam provides tax advisory and compliance services to several local and multinational clients in a wide variety of industries.
