Before joining KPMG as a Director in 2022, for 4 years Amr was working for The General Authority of Zakat and Tax and Custom (ZATCA) as the Assistant Director for Indirect Tax in the audit department.
Amr was managing SMEs tax payers audit activities for VAT and Real Estate Tax Service. Participate in the design and implementation SMEs (VAT) Central Audit Department’s strategy and roadmap, and establishing plans and goals that supports SMEs Audit overall strategic plans.
Manage cases verifications of SMEs taxpayers across KSA including reviewing audit outcomes, handling complex audit cases, supporting regional teams with technical expertise and participating in objections and appeals settlement.
He also worked for Deloitte as an external audit for 4.5 years.
