KPMG once again in the forefront of audit firms in Poland
KPMG in Poland placed second in the main category of Rzeczpospolita daily's annual Ranking of Auditors and came second ex aequo in the Ranking of Listed Companies’ Auditors of Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów „Parkiet”.
KPMG also ranked first in terms of having the highest number of statutory auditors licensed in Poland and was awarded in the innovative technology solutions category for its KPMG Clara analytics – AI Transaction Scoring, KPMG Clara AI Chat, KPMG Clara Advanced Capabilities and KPMG Smart Glasses solutions. KPMG is also the leader, with a 41% market share, in terms of the value of assets of audited listed companies.
The results of the 23rd edition of Rzeczpospolita’s Ranking of Auditors and the Ranking of Listed Companies’ Auditors prepared by Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów „Parkiet” were announced on 18 April 2024.
KPMG in the Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms by 'Rzeczpospolita'
On 5 April 2024 the results of the 18th Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms organized by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, were published. KPMG took 2nd place in the categories: the largest companies by the number of tax advisors and the largest companies by the number of listed companies served. Andrzej Marczak received individual recognition as a recommended advisor in Personal Income Tax.

On 26 March 2024, the results of the 18th Ranking of Tax Firms and Advisors of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna were published.
KPMG took equal 1st place in the "Tax Litigation" category, and 2nd place in the "Top firms in terms of the number of tax advisors" category. Individual awards for top tax advisors in 2023 were given to:

KPMG in Poland recognized in World Tax 2024 and World TP 2024 rankings
KPMG in Poland has once again strengthened its high position, by winning the top three honors in this year’s edition of the ITR magazine’s tax guide - World Tax 2024 and ITR World TP 2024. KPMG was placed on the highest position - Tier 1 in the categories: Corporate Tax, Tax Controversy and Transfer Pricing. KPMG in Poland also ranked highly in Indirect tax category (Tier 2). Individual recognition received Jacek Bajger, Andrzej Marczak, Dariusz Malinowski, Hanna Rawska and Jarosław Nożewski.
KPMG in the Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms by 'Rzeczpospolita'
On 20 April 2023 in Warsaw, the results of the 17th Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms organized by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, were published.
KPMG took 2nd place in the categories: the largest companies by the number of tax advisors and the largest companies by the number of listed companies served.
Andrzej Marczak received individual recognition as a recommended advisor in Personal Income Tax, and Wiktor Podsiadło was recognized as a young talent by the ranking committee.

KPMG wins Poland Tax Firm of the Year
KPMG in Poland has won the Poland Tax Firm of the Year award at the ITR EMEA Tax Awards 2022. It has been named the best tax advisory firm by the prestigious magazine International Tax Review (ITR), for projects completed in 2021, based on the level of their complexity and innovation. For many years, KPMG in Poland provides comprehensive tax advisory services, using innovative technologies ensuring automation and digitization of tax compliance processes.
The ITR EMEA Tax Awards have been held annually since 2005, and recognize the outstanding achievements of international tax advisors from Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
At the same time, KPMG in Poland has once again strengthened its high position, by winning the top two honors in this year’s edition of the ITR magazine’s tax guide - World Tax 2023. For the second time in a row, KPMG ranks among employers demonstrating the most advanced approach to diversity management and inclusion in Poland
KPMG in Poland is once again on the list of the most advanced employers in the field of diversity management and building an inclusive corporate culture. The list is based on the second edition of the Diversity IN Check study, organised by the Forum for Responsible Business, which coordinates the Diversity Charter in Poland.
The aim of the Diversity IN Check study is to diagnose how far an organisation has advanced in diversity management and inclusive work environments. The questionnaire used in the study is based on internationally recognised standards and guidelines, including the Sustainable Development Goals, ISO 26 000 and ISO 30 415, GRI Standards, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
Creating an inclusive work culture based on trust, empathy and continuous development is one of KPMG’s fourteen ESG commitments: Our Impact Plan 2022.
KPMG recognized as the best employer among advisory firms
KPMG in Poland took the first place in the Forbes Poland's Best Employers 2022 ranking, in the “Advisory” category.
The ranking was based on over 20 thousand responses and took into account direct recommendations, meaning employees’ eagerness to recommend their employers, remuneration, working time, opportunities for promotion and development, working conditions, office equipment and remote work equipment, as well as indirect recommendations, meaning employees’ willingness to recommend other employers from their current industry.
The results of the Poland's Best Employers 2022 were published on 28 April 2022 by Forbes magazine.
KPMG placing high in the 16th Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms by Rzeczpospolita
On 10 May 2022, the results of the 16th Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms of the Rzeczpospolita daily were published.
KPMG in Poland was once again recognized as one of the leading tax advisory firms in Poland and ranked second in two categories: the largest companies in terms of number of tax advisors and the largest companies in terms of number of listed companies served.
In the individual category, Andrzej Marczak, Partner and Head of the PIT Team at KPMG in Poland, was awarded the title of the best personal income tax advisor.
In turn, MDR Secure – KPMG’s proprietary tool for complex support of processes for identifying and reporting tax arrangements – was recognized in the category of Innovative Technological Solutions. KPMG in Poland was also awarded in the category of Tax Education for publishing numerous reports and organizing numerous conferences and webinars to help taxpayers adapt to changing regulations.

KPMG ranked among the top tax advisory firms in Poland
On 29 March 2022, the results of the 16th Ranking of Tax Firms and Advisors of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna were published. Once again, KPMG in Poland has strengthened its leading position, finding itself among the top tax advisory firms in the "Big Four" category.
KPMG also took equal 1st place in the "Tax Litigation" category, and 2nd place in the “Top firms in terms of the number of tax advisors" category. Agnieszka Smolińska-Wiśnioch and Marek Bielawski were granted awards for outstanding individuals in the "VAT" and "Court Litigation" categories, while Martin Wrbka was awarded in the "Local Taxes" category.

On 27 April 2021, the results of Rzeczpospolita’s ‘20th Ranking of Auditors’ and Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów Parkiet’s ‘Ranking of Listed Companies Auditors’ were announced.
According to Parkiet, KPMG in Poland ranked 2nd in the category "the Best Audit Company Examining Listed Companies of 2020". In addition, KPMG has the largest market share based on the asset and book value of the public interest companies audited.
KPMG in Poland also ranked 3rd in the main category of the "Best Audit Firm in 2020" ranking. Furthermore, it was recognised for having the highest number of statutory auditors licensed in Poland.

On 29 April 2020, the results of the 14th National Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms, organised by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, were announced in Warsaw.
KPMG was ranked 2nd in the “Largest Firms by Number of Tax Advisors” category and 2nd in terms of the largest number of listed companies served.
In turn, in the 14th Ranking of Tax Firms and Tax Advisors drawn up by the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily, published on 26 March 2020, KPMG in Poland has strengthened its leading position, once again finding itself among the top tax advisory firms in the "Big Four" category. On 9 April 2020, the results of the Rzeczpospolita daily’s 19th Ranking of Auditors and the Gazeta Giełdy i Inwestorów Parkiet daily’s Ranking of Listed Companies Auditors were announced.

KPMG recognised globally for the quality of advice for the financial services sector
Based on a survey of 1866 current and potential clients of 13 global firms providing advisory services to financial sector organisations, the analytical company Source Global Research gave the highest rating to the quality of the advice provided by KPMG. The results of the survey were published in a report entitled “Perceptions of Consulting in Financial Services”.
In the published report, KPMG was ranked 1st for the quality of its consulting services for financial institutions, while achieving the following distinctions:
- 1st place in business strategy,
- 1st place in financial management,
- 1st place in risk management,
- 1st place in regulatory work,
- 1st place in legacy technology,
- 1st place in other (non-digital) transformations,
- 1st place in robotics use,
- 2nd place in data analysis,

- 3rd place in sales, marketing, and customer experience
Additionally, the survey respondents indicated the most important attributes of companies providing consulting services for the financial sector. In the case of KPMG, the following were highlighted: innovative approach, customer relations, methodology used, quality of leadership and a wide range of services offered.

KPMG among the best audit firms according to the “Rzeczpospolita” daily
KPMG was ranked 2nd in the Ranking of Auditors, organised by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, in the main “Best Audit Firm 2018” category.
KPMG was also ranked 3rd in the category of “Best Audit Firms Auditing Listed Companies 2018” in the Ranking of Listed Company Auditors of “Parkiet”, newspaper for the Stock Exchange and Investors, and received a distinction in the “Pro-Social Audit Firm 2018” category (according to the “Rzeczpospolita” daily).
The results of the 18th Ranking of Auditors of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily and the Ranking of Auditors of Listed Companies of “Parkiet”, newspaper for the Stock Exchange and Investors, were announced on 10 April 2019 at the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
PMG among the best tax advisory firms
On 17 April 2019 in Warsaw, the results of the 13th National Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms, organised by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, were announced. KPMG was ranked 2nd in the “Largest Firms by Number of Tax Advisors” category.
KPMG also received an award in the PIT category for the judgment of the Supreme Administrative Court of 19 September 2018 concerning the taxation of a partner exiting a general partnership (as one of distinctions awarded by the chapter for winning before administrative courts in ground-breaking tax cases).

Results of the 12th Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms
On 26 June 2018, the results of the 12th National Ranking of Tax Advisory Firms, organised by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, were announced in Warsaw. KPMG was ranked 1st in the category of tax education, 2nd in terms of the number of tax advisors employed and 2nd for providing services to the largest number of companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
In the individual category, Andrzej Marczak, partner of KPMG in Poland, was awarded the title of the best personal income tax advisor.
According to the ranking of the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, KPMG has been the number one auditor in Poland for 6 years running.

On 23 March 2017, the results of the 11th Ranking of Tax Firms and Tax Advisors, drawn up by the “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna” daily, were published. KPMG in Poland has strengthened its leading position, once again being ranked at the forefront of the largest tax advisory firms.

KPMG recognised as a leading advisor in the area of information security
KPMG has been recognised as a leader in information security consulting services in a report entitled “The Forrester WaveTM: Information Security Consulting Services, Q3 2017”, prepared by the independent research company Forrester Research.
The aim of the report was to provide data to managers responsible for selecting the right consulting company, as well as to assess the ability of member companies to ensure information security for their clients.
