On the 18th of July, 2025, we brought together leading sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) experts from across West Africa at the Sustainability Data Management Webinar — and what an insightful and engaging session it was. Together, we explored how organisations can strengthen their ESG data capabilities, from navigating evolving regulations to implementing robust frameworks and performance indicators that drive real results. The well-attended and live-streamed session commenced with a welcome address by Annor Reindolf, Partner, Accounting Advisory Services, Ghana, KPMG West Africa, who expressed his hope that participants would gain maximum value from the session.
This was followed with a keynote address by Tomi Adepoju, Partner and Head, Enterprise Risk and ESG Services, KPMG West Africa. In her opening remark, Tomi stressed that sustainability data challenge is a catalyst for transformation. Organisations investing in strong data infrastructure today will lead in decision-making, regulatory compliance, transparency, stakeholder trust, and access to affordable capital.
The event also featured insights from industry leaders shaping the future of sustainability: Titilope Oguntuga, Director of Sustainability at IHS Nigeria Limited; Patricia Ifewulu, Group Head of Legal & Compliance at Continental Reinsurance; and Adebisi Adeoti, Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at the American Business Council.
We are proud to have facilitated this timely discussion and look forward to supporting organisations in building the data capabilities they need for long-term impact. Catch up on key highlights, speaker insights, and behind-the-scenes moments from the webinar in the photos below.
