Following the recent official release by the Ministry of Finance (“MOF”) detailing the list of goods subject to revised Sales Tax rates and the expanded list of taxable services under the Service Tax, businesses should now begin assessing the potential impact. This includes reviewing their Sales Tax and Service Tax (“SST”) registration status, as well as the availability of exemptions.
